About the project

The Building Futures project in conjunction with the North Staffordshire Construction Employment Centre (NSCEC) is a partnership project hosted by Groundwork Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire aimed at increasing local employment opportunities within the construction industry as a result of the regeneration of North Staffordshire.

The NSCEC intends to build a reputation as the construction industry’s leading employment and training provider with its main focus being to link local people to developers and contractors involved in the regeneration of the area.  Building Futures and the NSCEC can help local people, whether skilled, unskilled or trainees, to access employment opportunities as well as providing appropriate training.

Developers and contractors within the construction industry will also be able to access this free service to meet their recruitment needs.  New employees will be supported on-site by the Building Futures team.
