Awards

• Groundwork scoops major green award from Al Gore
• Barclays Spaces for Sports and Groundwork win 2 separate Awards
• Groundwork Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire attended the Regeneration in Staffordshire Excellence Awards Ceremony (RISE) on 22nd February 2007 at the Victoria Hall, Hanley.  Groundwork won the 'Impact on Learning and Skills' award which was collected by Jon Cotgreave, Executive Director and Julia Barraclough, Programme Manager.

Groundwork Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire has undertaken an evaluation process, to examine the impact that Groundwork has on people, places and prosperity in the local area. 
Groundwork UK has engaged the Centre of Local Economic Strategies (CLES).
Groundwork wishes to ensure that quality projects are being delivered which meet the needs of its local community.  The three key area's assessed are:

• impacts and outcomes
• Ways of working
• learning

Key strategic and deliver partners were contacted during November/December 2006.
